Protect the Finish

Hoodsly Care Instructions

A painted or stained wood hood should be cleaned differently from a stainless-steel appliance. Hoodsly recommends gentle cleaning and avoiding harsh or abrasive chemicals.

1
Make a gentle cleaning solutionHoodsly recommends water with a few drops of clear, fragrance-free Dawn dish soap.
2
Use a barely damp microfiber clothWet the cloth, wring it out very well, then wipe the outside of the hood. The cloth should be slightly damp, not wet.
3
Dry the hood completelyFollow with a dry microfiber cloth so moisture is not left sitting on the finish.
Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners. Regular gentle cleaning helps keep the hood looking good while protecting the wood finish. Use Hoodsly’s official care page for the current manufacturer instructions.
