Natural
Natural keeps the wood itself at the center of the design. The stain adds warmth without hiding the grain, so the finished look changes naturally from one species to another.
Natural across wood species

Bishop also lists Natural as standard on White Oak. Wood grain and natural variation mean every finished piece will look a little different.
Warm, quiet, and unmistakably wood.
Natural is a strong choice when you want cabinetry to feel authentic rather than heavily colored. It works especially well when the grain, mineral streaks, knots, and other species characteristics are meant to be part of the finished room.
Because the same stain reads differently on Maple, Birch, Cherry, Red Oak, Hickory, and White Oak, the wood-species decision matters just as much as the stain name.
Let’s see it in your cabinet design.
Bates Cabinetry can verify the door style, species, finish combination, and final availability before anything is ordered.
Finish availability and species information are based on Bishop Cabinets’ current public Natural finish information. Physical samples should be used for final color approval.
