Paint & Stain Matching Codes

Use these US Cabinet Depot reference codes when purchasing matching paint or stain through Sherwin-Williams. This is especially useful for trim pieces, touch-up work, panels, furniture details, and other field-finished components that need to coordinate with a USCD cabinet finish.

Retail Store

Sherwin-Williams retail stores can mix paint and stain suitable for trim pieces and smaller items. Paint mixes are latex-based; stain mixes are oil-based. Custom mixes generally require a minimum one-gallon purchase.

Product Finishes Facility

For larger pieces such as doors, panels, or furniture, USCD recommends a Sherwin-Williams Product Finishes facility. Conversion-varnish matching requires a physical door or drawer for the match process.

How Sherwin-Williams Locates the USCD Account

  1. Tell the store associate you need a paint or stain listed in Sherwin-Williams' National Account Database.
  2. The associate opens the internal Sherwin-Williams SOURCE browser and navigates to the Marketing tab.
  3. From Marketing, open National Accounts.
  4. Choose Account Profiles - New and search BGI in the Customer Name field.
  5. Once the profile is found, provide the appropriate color code below.
